Eight awards for Peter Schmidt Group at the CDP

Hamburg, 29.11.2022

Eight Peter Schmidt Group projects received awards at this year's Corporate Design Prize (CDP). The CDP is particularly relevant in the design industry, as it has been for decades been the only competition that focuses exclusively on brand identity design.

The winning projects include the corporate design relaunch of the Canton loudspeaker brand, Swiss construction materials manufacturer Holcim, and Germany's national triathlon league (Deutsche Triathlon Bundesliga). The branding of Ghanaian start-up WASHKing, the illustrations for the “United Minds of PSG” campaign, and the visual identity of the “Gegen den Tod” initiative also received awards. The latter was realized in collaboration with partner agency Proximity as part of an inter-disciplinary project within the BBDO network.

Successful in two categories: The corporate design relaunch of lingerie brand Mey

The relaunch of lingerie brand Mey won awards in two categories, namely corporate design relaunch and logo design. The courageous step to replace the former, highly technical appearance with a serifed logo that harkens back to the production process used to make the brand's products has already won multiple awards, having been honored both at the competition sponsored by the Art Directors Club of Germany and at the Red Dot Design Awards. Managing director Ruediger Goetz is happy with the agency's success. “Our winning projects at the CDP are proof of the rich variety of our work,” he said. “Winning eight awards in the only competition to concentrate on our core discipline brings the year to an outstanding end, and is the result of our high creative standards.”
