We express brands through logos everybody knows. Really everybody.

Logo Design since 1972

Sure, I know that one, and that one – and that one too... That’s how it always goes when we show people the logos we’ve designed. Symbols that last for decades. That have left their indelible mark on entire industries, and are perceived around the world as a seal of quality. Yes, we designed everything you see here.

Douglas

A radical break with the old is a good way to unmistakably communicate a brand re-positioning. We turned Douglas into a powerful product brand. With a distinctive ligature that (not by coincidence) can also be read as the word “Do!”

Jil Sander

A young fashion designer asked Peter Schmidt to create a logo for her – and that was basically the beginning of our company’s history. The design is strong, condensed, and yet full of character. In short: So good it’s still up to date 40 years later.

Postbank

The privatization of the federal post office gave rise to Postbank – with a logo that symbolizes the departure for new shores. If you look closely you can recognize the bulging sails of a three-master. We’ve been the company’s lead corporate design agency since 1998. Together, we keep the ship on course.

Heidelberger Druckmaschinen

The paper is fed into the printing press in the front and comes out in the back. The story the previous logo told was a clever one. There was just one problem: It wasn’t true anymore. So we made it clear that it’s the digital services that count! We created a logo for Heidelberg that symbolizes the company’s new direction – and also makes a great app icon.

Continental

When you have a logo that has been around for a century, you don’t want to throw it overboard too quickly. Instead, you should make it more distinctive. The typeface, the ligature, the symbol – now they all work better on small, digital applications. And embossed on tires, too, of course.

Red Dot Design Award

Winning a Red Dot is one of the highest honors for design agencies all over the world. And also for us. But who created the logo for this coveted award? You guessed it.

Rewe Feine Welt

High-quality products from all over the world ensure variety in your shopping cart – that’s what this logo says. A journey of discovery around the globe – and in conjunction with the unmistakable white of the packaging, a completely new approach in the premium segment.

Persil

Purity, clarity – but also performance. Highest quality – and at the same time available to all. Persil is an iconic brand the world over. We gave it an unmistakable look.

Jacobs

When brands manage to coin words for themselves, that’s when they’re really successful. A good example is the term Verwöhnaroma – roughly translated as the “treat-yourself aroma”, it is indelibly linked with Jacobs brand coffee. We created a logo that visualizes the smell of coffee just as succinctly.

Mey

Sustainability and quality are deeply rooted in the Mey brand – and thanks to the new logo, it’s now plain to see. It has a high-value appearance, and the omissions in the lettering make it look like embroidery on knitwear.

Davidoff

Handwritten lettering makes a strong connection to the brand’s founding personality, Zino Davidoff. Cosmopolitan, cigar maker – and eventually a synonym for a luxurious lifestyle. Whether on wristwatches or perfume bottles, the logo is recognized throughout the world as a symbol of quality.

Aigner

A simple idea that lasts for decades without going out of style. Which is certainly partly due to the strong symbolism of the horseshoe – after all, it stands for good luck all over the world.
