EuroShop 2017 Fair Stand

A small stand with huge impact.

A multisensory experience and Instagram moment number one.

EuroShop in Düsseldorf is the world's largest retail trade fair and in 2017 we have for the first time presented both the work of our "Brand Spaces" team and ourselves to inform an international audience of how brands utilise spatial communication to convince customers within a retail environment.

Our challenge had been to create a stand within a limited budget that would stand out from tough competitors. This had certainly been familiar territory for us as to achieve maximum attention with modest means was a typical brief from clients and our award winning stand clearly demonstrated our ability to overcome the challenging conditions of everyday design life.

Across a small space of 15 square metres the Peter Schmidt Group’s stand had illustrated the agency’s design expertise within the field of "brand communication in spaces" that left a lasting impression on its visitors. A bold motto "We are smashing!" not only projected confidence and belief in our power to successfully realise diverse projects for customers across the world, but also literally represented a space that visually “smashed“ your senses.

EuroShop

EuroShop is the world's leading retail trade fair and has been held every three years in Düsseldorf since 1966. In 2017 more than 2,300 exhibitors showed their new products, from shop signs to cash desks, and the 18 trade fair halls had been divided over seven themes: POP Marketing, Expo & Event Marketing, Retail Technology, Lighting, Visual Merchandising, Shop Fitting & Store Design and Food Tech & Energy Management.
