The Peter Schmidt Group scores threefold at the Red Dot Awards

Three projects of the Peter Schmidt Group have been awarded a Red Dot Award in 2014: The customer magazine 224plus / 225plus of the private bank Sal. Oppenheim jr. & Cie. AG & Co, a coveted Design Award was given to KGaA, as well as a packaging design prize, for its dietary supplement Qi2 and now the celebratory catalogue VI5IONS, of the former Deutsche+Guggenheim gallery, has been honoured. This most recent accolade being a "Red Dot: Best of the Best" which this year has only been awarded to 101 entries out of more than 7,000 projects that were submitted. VI5IONS celebrated 15 years of collaboration between the Solomon R. Guggenheim Foundation and Deutsche Bank who had together commissioned a retrospective publication that was given as a thank you gift to its key stakeholders and to artists who had previously been exhibited.

"Like the opulent retrospection of VI5IONS, the customer magazine of Sal. Oppenheim jr & Cie. had already been successful at the red dot Awards and was previously acknowledged in an earlier competition, so to convince and inspire different juries alike is always objective proof of the outstanding quality of the work created" said Gregor Ade, Managing Director of the Peter Schmidt Group, adding that "In addition, we are extremely pleased that our Qi2 entry was additionally recognised as excellent and so further demonstrating our expertise in the field of packaging design."
