Peter Schmidt Group remains Germany's top-selling brand and design agency

The Peter Schmidt Group has successfully maintained its dominant position as Germany's leading brand and design agency. With a total turnover of 25.25 million euros in 2017, the agency continues to be well ahead of the industry runner-up in current rankings (20.4 million euros).

A closer look at the figures shows that no other agency has such a diverse service portfolio as Peter Schmidt Group. In addition to pure corporate design work, almost half of sales are generated in business areas such as packaging design, industrial design, retail and digital media. "We take a holistic approach to brand work and are able to support our customers with the best set of specialists for all their requirements," says Armin Angerer, Managing Partner of Peter Schmidt Group. By collaborating with a tried-and-proven network of multi-talented experts, the Group is able to guarantee consistent brand experience across all contact points of the customer journey. "Our customers recognize this as an essential factor for their entrepreneurial success," says Angerer. He calls attention to a prominent new client who takes full advantage of the holistic offer: For almost a year, the Peter Schmidt Group has been the lead agency for brand and design for Deutsche Bahn, developing a wide range of solutions for the mobility and logistics group, including enhancements to the company's visual identity as well as digital services and spatial design.

In addition to individual designs and strategic concepts, the agency's activities focus on flexibly scalable digital portals that enable Peter Schmidt Group customers to efficiently handle and maintain all their assets worldwide. Accordingly, the Peter Schmidt Group generates a large part of its sales with projects outside Germany. Examples include companies such as Henkel, Imperial Brands and Linde, a manufacturer of industrial gases that the agency supports by providing the appropriate tools for its global brand management efforts.

Overall, the internationalization of the agency business continues to be a major focus for Peter Schmidt Group. The company is strengthening its traditionally close relationships with the Japanese market and is currently advising Japanese automotive suppliers, among others, on their brand positioning in global markets. A total of around 220 employees work at the Hamburg, Frankfurt, Düsseldorf, Munich and Tokyo offices.
