Lukas Cottrell has been appointed Managing Director of the Peter Schmidt Group and today the 45 year old now leads the business of the brand and design agency together with Managing Partner Armin Angerer. "I am very pleased how Lukas has successfully merged areas under his responsibility, such as Brand Strategy and Consulting, in an extremely short time so that we are now even more effectively positioned to implement strong brands around the world," Armin said. This is evident not only on the basis of winning further accounts within the areas of Strategy, Implementation and Brand Management but also as the Peter Schmidt Group is today the fastest growing brand and design agency within Germany in terms of sales revenue and is distinctly outperforming other competitors in the market.

Lukas has been working for the Peter Schmidt Group since February 2015 at the Frankfurt headquarters of the agency. Over this time he has established a new team structure that bridges the agency's locations, strengthens the core holistic consulting approach of the Peter Schmidt Group and promotes individual responsibility within the agency's units. As a result of this Kristin Janoschka (34) has been appointed Director Consulting of the newly created Brand Consulting Team that as of now functions as a central point of contact for key account customers. Lukas has also brought on board Dr. Stephan Platt (53) as an experienced Group Head for the Brand Strategy Team. Stephan previously worked for distinguished agencies and companies, such as Landor Associates, Saatchi & Saatchi and Audi, and also taught brand communication at the MHMK in Berlin.

"The Peter Schmidt Group is now well positioned to address the communication challenges currently faced by global companies as we consistently maintain a holistic perspective and constantly keep target groups in focus to achieve convincing results for our customers, " said Lukas. He also expressed that further internationalisation of the agency's business throughout the ongoing year was likely as the Peter Schmidt Group had recently won new mandates for several global companies: LafargeHolcim the world's largest manufacturer of building materials, the navigation and map service provider Here, the insurance provider Generali and the launch of Persil in the USA for Henkel. Lukas additionally indicated that further international growth potential, especially within the North American market, would open up for the Peter Schmidt Group in the near future.
