Six prizes for the Peter Schmidt Group at the iF Design Award 2018

The Peter Schmidt Group has received six prizes at the iF Design Award 2018, one of the most important design awards in the world today. This year the design achievements of Germany's top selling brand and design agency were honoured within the categories of packaging and corporate design as well as trade fair design.

The Award's international jury had received close to 6,400 submissions from across 54 countries before it gave its coveted seal of approval to the following projects of the Peter Schmidt Group: The packaging design of the recently established beer brand Wolfscraft as well as for Osram's automotive lamps. The corporate design of Juchheim's newly opened Café Europe in Tokyo together with the accessory collection of N ÜBER C. And finally the corporate sound for Schüco, created with instruments that had been made from the company's own products, and the exhibition concept for the agency's own booth at the EuroShop 2017 fair.

"We have long ceased to be known as an agency that merely distinguishes itself through strong packaging and corporate design achievements, but rather as one that works holistically from a strategic beginning and extends beyond both digital branding and trade fair and spacial concepts," said Armin Angerer, Managing Partner of the Peter Schmidt Group. Adding that "The projects which have recently convinced the jurors accurately reflect our strength in fully servicing brands with diverse requirements from one single source."

This variety of design concepts not only refers to the range of services that the Peter Schmidt Group competently brings together under one agency roof, but also represents strong individual disciplines which can set new brands apart as well as strengthen the brand identity of well-known global companies.

For over 65 years the iF Design Award itself has also been acknowledged as a global brand symbolic of great design as it honours achievements across all design disciplines, such as products, packaging, communication and service design/UX, architecture and interior design as well as professional concepts.
