44HOURS: An event, symposium and workshop series all under the motto
How can you break out of routine, change your way of thinking and foster greater creativity? Under the motto "Beyond Routine" our event 44HOURS, from 17th to 19th November 2016, will show you how to break out of workplace norms and venture into unknown territory.
The Hamburg based brand and design agency the Peter Schmidt Group is the organiser behind 44HOURS which will give centre stage to the most creative minds from today's design industry and enable them to share the power of their experimental ideas. The core attraction of this event is going to be a symposium on Friday 18th November, with Paula & Aart, Foreal, Frank Höhne, Hardy Seiler and iconic designer Peter Schmidt, where visitors will hopefully not only experience an informative event, but also a series of interactive lectures that invite active participation and discussion. Following the symposium both participants and the 44HOURS' moderators will have a chance to meet one another, socialise together and informally continue sharing ideas.
In total, the event is going to include a full program of 44 hours of attractions which will ideally promote a permanent metamorphosis of thinking. The opening party on Thursday evening will showcase projects which have been developed beyond the restraints of traditional design briefings and includes both the Peter Schmidt Group's own developed gin, which will celebrate its public debut, as well as a first "Sneak Peek" at the current collection of "cork leather" accessories developed in cooperation with the Frankfurt label frischBeutel. On Saturday the event location will then turn into a gift store, full of design products, unique articles and accessories, as well as becoming the venue for a series of creative workshops where visitors can spontaneously participate and discover new experiences.
44HOURS is an open event, participation is free of charge and prior registration is not necessary.
