Stefanie Ahrens joins Peter Schmidt Group as Creative Director

Peter Schmidt Group is reinforcing the creative leadership team at their Hamburg office. Effective immediately, Stefanie Ahrens will join the agency as creative director for consumer branding. Her appointment will aid the brand and design agency both operationally and strategically, and also strengthen their ability to develop outstanding creative solutions.

In hiring Stefanie Ahrens as creative director, Peter Schmidt Group has attracted an experienced and conceptual designer who will enhance the quality of the brand and design agency's creative work. She comes to Peter Schmidt Group from the Hamburg agency Delikatessen, where she has been creative director for the past 12 years. Prior to that she served as design director at Landor Associates, also in Hamburg, where she was resposible for branding and packaging design projects. Her clients included Lidl, Milka, Philadelphia, Rewe and Zott.

“In addition to her professional expertise and leadership skills, she also impressed us with her outstanding conceptual thinking,” said Florian Lauffer, executive director of consulting. “Stefanie Ahrens will bring added strength to our creative leadership because she is a very experienced colleague who will question our familiar processes from an unbiased, outside point of view, and will also contribute new creative impulses of her own,” added managing director Ruediger Goetz. She will be based in the agency's Hamburg office.

For Stefanie Ahrens herself, the high level of craftsmanship and the flair for ecologically sustainable innovations were the main reasons for switching to the Peter Schmidt Group. “Since my college days I have been impressed by the professionalism of Peter Schmidt Group and their holistic approach to branding. In recent years I have also admired their creative implementations of sustainable product and packaging ideas. I'm looking forward to making an active contribution here as well.”
